Very popular battle royale game Fortnite has been known to perform a crazy crossover or two over the years. While many players in the general community haven’t viewed them too favorably, many Fortnite gamers themselves seem to like them, even if given in small doses. Since the first Infinity War crossover, Epic Games has added content ranging from movie franchises to video games and even influencers to its ever-popular battle royale.
Since then, the battle royale has collaborated with popular game franchises such as resident Evil and street fighterand even added Among us cosmetics, featuring various characters as skins that players can redeem V-Bucks for or by participating in special events. Recently, Fortnite entered chapter three, and the game even brought the recently released Tiny Tina’s Wonderland in the mix. There are plenty of other franchises the colorful battle royale could crossover with; here are five video game franchises that have yet to join the fray.
Fortnite x FromSoftware
Although there are rumors that a cross between Fortnite and Ring of Elden could become a reality, the Battle Royale game has yet to feature a FromSoftware title in a crossover event. Although the developers added a tribute to the Sun Bros. world famous gesture of praise to the sun as a “Praise the Tomato” emote, there has been no direct crossover between the two in the history of Fortnite.
There are plenty of beloved characters Epic Games could choose from across FromSoftware’s entire library of games. Developers could also design a Fortnite zone that’s FromSoftware-esque with medieval structures, and even the game’s building mechanics could get an old-school overhaul as part of the FromSoft-inspired zone.
Fortnite x Grand Theft Auto
Bandit Fortnite has not yet been made, and a cross with the Grand Theft Auto the series would be the best way for the battle royale to go about it. With Rockstar confirming Grant Theft Auto 6 being in development, iconic items and characters from all Grand Theft Auto game currently available could also work in favor of Rockstar. Crossovers in general tend to help increase views on featured video games, and if Rockstar wants as many eyes as possible on their next addition to their beloved franchise, this might be the way to go.
