All Star Healthcare Solutions nominated Mike Peterson as Chief Information Officer and promoted jonathanSimon to the Divisional Vice President, Information Technology. Peterson brings over 30 years of IT experience, much of it within the healthcare workforce industry. Simon joined the company in 2016 and most recently served as Senior Director, IT. All Star Healthcare specializes in locum and direct physician hiring.

Glassdoor named Danny Guillory as chief of staff. Guillory brings over 30 years of experience in recruitment and diversity, equity and inclusion. He most recently served as vice president, chief diversity officer, and interim chief human resources officer at Dropbox. Previously, he was Head of Global Diversity and Innovation at Autodesk. He will be based in San Francisco.

Global recruitment firm Hays plc has announced that Paul Venables retired as a director on September 30 after 16 years. As previously announced, James Hilton succeeded Venables as Group Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, Hays announced Zarine Patel joins its board of directors as an independent non-executive director effective January 1, 2023. Patel will serve as a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees. Patel is a chartered accountant who spent 16 years at KPMG, followed by nine years as the BBC’s chief financial officer. He was also Chief Operating Officer of The Grass Roots Group plc.

Staffing franchisor AtWork has announced that its new office in Gastonia, North Carolina is operated by Market Manager Don Monteith. Also, the company reported its new office in Corpus Christi, Texas, the office is managed by Market Manager Karen Barnes. Additionally, AtWork said its new office in East Columbia, SC is operated by the franchise owner. David Walker.

BrightStar Care, a home care and medical staff franchise, promoted Andrew “Andy” Ray to the Chief Operating Officer, effective October 17. As part of the transition, Ray’s two franchises in Arizona – at Mesa and Gilbert – will be acquired by the BrightStar-owned organization.

Quad M Solutions, a recruitment company based in Garland, Texas, has appointed Yakov Kogan as Chief Operating Officer. Kogan holds a Ph.D. and has co-founded and served as COO and CEO of several biotech and management consulting firms.

Jeff Gonzalez is the new owner of Spherion Staffing and Recruiting’s Coachella Valley and Temecula offices in Southern California. Gonzalez took over ownership from the former franchise owners Speedwell and Richard Moise.

Executive search firm Boyden has announced several new executives. Helga Kayser-Dorr, managing partner in Germany, has been named Boyden’s global industrial practice leader. She was co-head of the company’s industrial manufacturing sub-sector for four years. Jutta Menzenbach was named co-head of the global industrial practice and continues to lead Boyden’s global automotive subsector. Elizabeth Garforthpartner in France, was named co-leader of the aerospace and defense sub-sector with Paul Marshall. Catherine Van Alstinmanaging partner in Canada, was named a global leader in the mining and commodities sub-sector.

Access Capital Inc., an independent lender to the staffing and other industries, named Sandra Herrera as Senior Collateral Analyst. Herrera has over 25 years of experience and will be based in Chicago.
