During the quarter, Buddy’s assigned 25 franchise stores and opened 11 new franchise stores, increasing its national presence to 309 stores.
The 25 units have all been allocated to multiple unit operators, eight of which will be moving from corporate to franchise stores. The retailer plans to open additional franchises before the end of the year and has several ongoing franchise agreements.
