cartoon game reported that multiple sources claim that Konami plans to release a three-title “Metal Gear” remaster of the franchise’s previous release. It will focus on the original trilogy, including “Metal Gear Solid”, “Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty”, and “Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater”, which will soon be available on modern gaming platforms.
It’s unclear if this is part of the company’s celebration of the 35th anniversary of the game’s first release, but it only goes to show that there are no meaningful plans for its sequel at present. Konami Rumors: new game “Silent Hill”
According Video game chronicles, Konami’s recent panel at the Tokyo Game Show earlier today talked about a new take on the company, bordering on a game that’s a worldwide phenomenon. Several titles from the development of the company have become a worldwide success, but the one that stands out according to speculation is the game “Silent Hill”.
The last title “Silent Hill” was released in 2012, with the game receiving mixed reviews from critics. After that, no more games were developed to succeed in its latest version, with the company holding it until now. Still, there are some important details supporting an upcoming game for the franchise that claim the leaks.
Previous leaks claim that new Konami games are coming soon from the company, and this will bring the sequel to its famous franchises that have brought the company massive fame and recognition. Titles like the “Castlevania”, “Metal Gear Solid” and “Silent Hill” franchises have received important information about new upcoming titles.
However, there has been little to no follow-up regarding the leak, and it has left the gaming world waiting for new titles from game developers that are supposed to arrive soon.
The relationship between Hideo Kojima and Konami has already seen a downfall, and gamers have experienced what happened to the quality of the company’s titles without the famed director. Nevertheless, there are still notable titles from the current development of the company’s titles, even without Kojima’s patronage.
Now gamers are being greeted with yet another news of titles from Konami’s game studio, bringing iterations of classic games to modern consoles, especially with the alleged new game of “Silent Hill”. Additionally, a leak regarding “Metal Gear” remasters is also forthcoming, with speculation that it will join the 35th anniversary of the title’s first release.
