The Mega Millions Friday’s lottery draw jackpot soared to around $169 million, with a cash option worth $95.4 million.
The winning numbers were: 39, 40, 52, 60 and 67. The Mega Ball drawn was 20 with a 2x Megaplier.
While no one across the country hit Tuesday’s $153 million jackpot, a pair of second prize tickets that matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball were sold. A ticket purchased in Oklahoma is worth $1 million while a ticket purchased in Texas is worth $3 million because it was sold with the Megaplier option for $1 more.
In New Jerseya $10,000 third-prize ticket was sold at 7-Eleven on the Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park, lottery officials said.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 2, 38, 55, 57 and 65. The Mega Ball drawn was 17 with a Megaplier of 3x.
The odds of a $2 ticket matching all winning numbers are 302,575,350 to 1. Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least 1 million bucks.
Mega Millions draws take place Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, as well as Washington, DC and the US Virgin Islands.
Saturdays power ball jackpot is worth around $148 million with a cash option of $83.1 million.
