Pizza guys – a Sacramento-based pizzeria specializing in creating fresh, high-quality pizza – is further expanding its presence in California by opening its new location in San Carlos. The new location will be the first to be opened by a local entrepreneur Huan Hoang, who plans to open additional locations in Menlo Park, Mountain View and Sunnyvale in the near future. It will be located at 796 El Camino Real and should open at the end of October.
A former school district employee who always wanted to play a central role in his community, Hoang was first introduced to the Pizza Guys brand and its franchise opportunities by a friend who owns a pizza business. Hoang started working for his friend and immersed himself completely in the pizza franchise industry, working hard and aiming to someday open his own franchise. Now the official owner of the Pizza Guys franchise, Hoang is looking to use his new business to make a positive difference locally.
“When I first arrived from Vietnam, one of the first foods I ate was pizza,” says Hoang. “It has since become a very nostalgic food for me and I can always say good cheese pizza when I see one. I developed a love for the pizza industry and Pizza Guys products in general. I see the opening of my first Pizza Guys store as a milestone in my life and now looking to involve my new business in the community in any way I can.
The Pizza Guys brand has been able to maintain the consistent growth and success it enjoyed during the peak of the pandemic, even now at its end. Its community approach and the constant opening of additional sites have provided those most affected by COVID-19 with local employment and donation opportunities.
